One thing I learned from the movie is that you can use the follow me tool to make whatever kind of lines you want to. He did this on the fire! Another thing is when you want to color something in, and you already have the color on one of the objects in your model, instead of trying to find it in the color palette, press B, command and this brings up your eye drop tool. Click on the color you want to copy while holding command and then click on your new object. The color copies over.
One of the things I learned on the video was when you are making a sketch up model and you need the whole thing one color, all you have to do is right click on the color that you need and then click orient faces and it will automatically be the same color.
Thank you Ellen for coming in and teaching us. I look forward to every class.
One thing that I learned was if you need a circle inside another circle, instead of using the circle tool you can use the offset tool to create a circle in the exact middle of the other circle. This also applies with the square and polygon tools.
One thing I learned is to repeat an offset double click on the surface to want to repeat it on. Another thing I learned is to get a circle in the middle of a surface hover over the mid-point of two edges then go straight to the middle.
Hi, One thing I learned was by holding alt while moving, sketch up creates an auto fold effect and allows you to pull an object up or down creating a tapered look.
One out of the many things that I learned is that you can view your object in x-ray mode, and also I didn't know about the follow me tool I will sure be using this a lot

One thing I learned doing this is if you hold down alt when you scale, both of the corners of your shape will move in.

One thing I learned is to find both mid-points, by moving you mouse over the mid-points of both edges then moving your mouse to the middle.
